Fall 2022 On - B.Sc. or M.Sc. Computer Scientist or Engineer

We are looking to recruit a student or visiting researcher who holds or will hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or who otherwise has experience with Python programming and/or machine learning projects.

Work with a diverse team including clinicians and industry partners to create automated Pap smear diagnostics for cervical cancer.

The applicant should have a working knowledge of Python, machine learning, deep learning, or other relevant methods. The applicant must be able to work independently.

Open to non Brown University students and affiliates. Work can be completed in person or remotely. Compensation for your work by PerkinElmer can be discussed.

Fall 2022 On - B.Sc. or M.Sc. Mechanical or Electrical Engineer

We are looking to recruit a student or visiting researcher who holds or will hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with an industry partner to transform a cutting edge medical diagnostic device technology into a commercialized product.

The applicant should have a working knowledge of CAD, circuit design, 3D printing or other manufacturing techniques. The applicant must have a strong understanding of or experience with iterative device prototyping.

Open to non Brown University students and affiliates. Work must be completed in person. You will be compensated for your work by PerkinElmer.
